been many years since I had been open sea fishing and I had a
outstanding time. I will be getting back from Afganistan either
in June or in July and one of the first things Im doing is
making sure I have a seat on your boat for another trip.

Phantom and crew:
We all need to take time even if we do not have it, to get away from the daily rat race and
experience the ocean and mother nature ( no cell phones) .
I had the recent pleasure of being aboard the Phantom last Wednesday (first trip on your boat) fishing Catalina island for white sea bass.
I am 48 years old, held my 100 ton Ocean operators license for over ten years, have had an extensive background in the Sportfishing and private yacht industry as a captain , dealing with open party
and private yacht charters for most of my adult life. I now own and operate a large palm tree moving company at www.sunsetpalms.net but the ocean and fishing will be in by blood till I die.
I was already expecting to run into a crew that knew the island and fished hard to create your recent fish counts, but was happily surprised to find that each and every one of your crew is 100% committed to making sure that each and every customer has the best experience they can possibly have.
I would have had a great trip whale watching with your crew, but when it came down to being patient and knowing the conditions and taking the gambles necessary to catch fish they really made me happy.
Not having a turn-around trip to deal with after our trip, your crew even stayed at the island a lot later than normal to catch an afternoon white sea bass bite that was a lifetime memory. (time of day)
Check out the attached photo, I had lost a larger sea bass about 2 minutes before I hooked this one, (I used a smaller leader trying to get bit and get at least one fish in the bag, ) I changed my approach and grabbed a heavier setup and bang.
I wanted to send you an email and let you know you have a top-notch operation and it would be impossible for me to ever have a bad trip with your crew, fish or no fish.
I will be back, have a lot of serious fishing friends, and will probably charter your boat once or twice this summer.

PS: If you look closely at my photo you will see I hooked the fish in his ass, and you can see line marks where I fought him to the boat, he got caught backwards in the kelp and Tino and I both thought the same thing at the same time (freespool) the fish thought he free to swim off and I took him for an afternoon ride back to Pierpoint Landing in my icechest.

Michelle, Just wanted to thank you for a good trip with Tino, Wes and Brandon yesterday. Although we got spanked on the seabass (along with everyone else), we had a good day on the water nonetheless. You run a great operation. We will definitely book with you again in the future.
